Women’s Ministry

We are blessed to have a vibrant women’s ministry that invites ladies of St. Paul community to gather as sisters in Christ through a variety of organizations and activities.

Serves as the the leading organization for many of the activities and missions of the women’s ministry at St. Paul. Affiliated with the National Lutheran Women’s Missionary League or LWML as well as the Texas District LWML whose mission is to equip all women through inspiration, educations and discipleship, enabling them to reach others with the Gospel as they live in service to the Triune God.

How Can I Get Involved?

Various teams of women help to carry out the mission of our Ladies Aid. Here are some of the teams that we invite you to be a part of.

* Mission Outreach -this team of ladies is responsible for planning mission projects within our church, community, and town.
* Projects/Activities – this team is responsible for publicizing and announcing events and programs hosted by the Women’s Ministry.
* Church Life – this team is responsible for planning social activities within the organization and aid in special celebrations within the church. Entertainment and decorating is furnished by this committee on special occasions.
* Food – if you enjoying cooking, you should like being on this team; you would help provide food for various functions and/or outreach.
* Altar Guild – this team helps set up for communion and special needs for Baptisms and funerals.
* Shut-Ins – this team visits and send cards to our church shut-ins.

Operation Barnabas – Operation Barnabas is the LCMS’ network of care to our nation’s military members, families and veterans. We reach out to all branches of the military with a special emphasis on our Reserve members and their families.
