COVID-19 UPDATE at St. Paul
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear though the earth gives way, though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam, though the mountains tremble at its swelling.
Dear St. Paul Family
The Board of Directors and I have made the determination in light of the social distancing being done and discouragement of the gathering together of groups of people greater than 10 in number, there will be no on campus worship services or other gatherings on the campus at St. Paul through March 31st. Should that date need to be adjusted we will communicate it immediately.
Our staff and leadership is quickly putting together ways to provide care for our community of faith during this time of crisis which you will see some opportunities below including opportunities to stay connected via phone calls and text, to share resources, and to serve our neighbor. Please see below for how you can help and especially connect with those for whom telephone is the best means of communication.
All worship events will be streaming online through our Facebook Page, YouTube Page, and on our website at stpaultexas.com/live We encourage you to join us during the normal worship times at Saturday 5:30 PM, Sunday 8:30 and 10:30 AM. Not only will the worship services be streaming during that time but we will have the ability to interact with one another and pray for each other during those times in a live chat. Other opportunities for worship and prayer will be streaming at various times in the coming weeks though morning & evening prayer and prayer vigil, Bible study and the like so stay tuned for more.
We will be posting opportunities for individuals and families to sign up to receive the Sacrament of the Lord's Table in a personal way in the Sanctuary in the coming week as well.
While we do not take lightly not meeting together we pray that through efforts like this we can do our part to make and keep our community healthy.
Please continue to check your email for the latest update and if you have not yet signed up to our texting service please do so for other critical instant messages.
Please continue to support the work of St. Paul during this time through online giving allowing you to set up one time or recurring gifts.
Be safe, be wise, be loving as you reflect Christ Jesus in this moment!
