Emily Troutman

Emily was born and raised in Burnet, TX,  about 40 miles northwest of Austin. Her parents, Scotty and and Ann raised her in the Baptist church along with her older sister Lisa. After many twists and turns of life she eventually met her future husband (Ross) in 2003. They were soon married, were blessed by their daughter Aspen in 2004 and established a home in Georgetown, TX. As their daughter entered elementary school they found themselves drawn to the LCMS congregation at Zion, Lutheran in a in Warburg, TX just outside of Georgetown. Emily quickly became drawn into the community
and served on the staff of the church and school where she found joy working with children of
all ages and participating in their journey with Christ. In 2017 she and her family found themselves relocating to South Texas to be closer to Ross’s family and found themselves establishing a new spiritual home at St. Paul, Harlingen where she began again to connect with the church community through it’s young people. Emily joined our team in October of 2019!
