Jesus Convos

What does the Bible have to say about immigration? If the prophet Isaiah were living today, what would he have to say to us over lunch? How do I improve my communication with people I love? During the months of January and February, there will be 3 different ways to jump into the Word to learn more about Jesus and find answers to these questions. Beginning Sunday, we will begin Jesus Convos, a 7-week series of conversations around the Word here at St. Paul, in a variety of contexts. During our Sunday morning Bible Study (9:15am), we will engage the immigration issue with Immigrants Among Us: A Lutheran Framework for Addressing Immigration Issues. On Tuesday, January 15, Lunch Bible study begins, with a study of the Book of Isaiah, Isaiah: The Suffering Servant For Us. Wednesday evening, January 16, 7pm, we will host a video-based series entitled, Love Talk: Speaking the Language of One Another, based on the best-selling book by Les and Leslie Parrott. Each of these studies around the Bible will be for approximately one hour in the St. Paul Parish Hall. 7 weeks, 3 Bible studies, 3 topics, 3 different days of the week, 3 chances to know Jesus and His Word better, 3 opportunities to know each other better, 3 opportunities to equip ourselves for engaging our neighbors. Pick a study or two or three and join us for Jesus Convos during January and February. For more information, contact Vicar Chad, at cbresson@splch.com, or 937-974-7818.
