The book of Genesis is a book of beginnings. In the beginning God created a perfect world but Sin separated mankind from God and showed that people needed a Savior. God made a promise to Abraham that one day his descendants would be God's chosen people and one day, He would send a Messiah, Jesus, to rescue them.
