What is HIS POWER OUR MISSION?

HIS POWER OUR MISSION is a special Stewardship Emphasis that St. Paul is embarking on as we move forward with our plans to expand on the current facilities as we look at how to best utilize what God has given to us both now and in the future as we carry out His work through our church in this community!

Who We Are

St. Paul cares about one thing more than anything else, Jesus Christ. St. Paul is a community of faith that has found hope in Jesus and we want as many people as possible to experience that same hope.

Since our founding in 1923, St. Paul Lutheran Church has served as a beacon of eternal hope in its mission of sharing Christ with others. Over the years
those ministries and our community have changed. By God’s grace and mercy we continue to move forward together and are ready for new opportunities to reach out with the precious Good News of Jesus
Christ.

Where We're Headed

Today we face the stewardship of the buildings on our nearly 60 year old Morgan Campus. Over the decades, spaces have been added, expanded and renovated to meet the needs at that time. Now we want to take a serious look at our entire campus and make improvements which will benefit our mission today and into the future.

What Will This Affect?

SPACE

Creating comfortable gathering spaces where conversations and shared life can happen is central
to this project

COMMUNITY

A welcoming place where members of our community can comfortably and safely meet even when
Great Beginnings is in session and in the evening.

ACCESSIBILTY

Well defined safe entrances, remodeled bathrooms for men and women and a repurposed kitchen that meets today’s needs and accessibility.

How Much Will This Cost?

$2,200,000

Over a three-year period, the HIS POWER OUR MISSION stewardship
emphasis has set a goal of raising at least $2,200,000 in over-and-above
gifts and three-year faith promises. This could never happen without the Lord’s blessing.  We are reminded that HIS POWER is beyond our comprehension, and that power will be made known through us. Everyone will be encouraged to be in prayer daily, prayerfully considering our gifts from God and using those gifts to give glory to Him and to strengthen the kingdom work at St. Paul Lutheran Church.

Is Now The Right Time?

When the time was right, God sent His Son, Jesus Christ into our world. We
wonder, is this the right time for us? Our HIS POWER OUR MISSION emphasis will remind us that God will never leave us or forsake us and that we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. So, let’s explore God’s plan together!

20 Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, 21 to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

- Ephesians 3:20-21 -
